There's so much archeology to the soul.. Layers of life hidden beneath the surface that need to be dug up, examined, cleaned up and put forth into the light. Things forgotten or discarded that require attention again.

Maybe that's why I enjoy improvisational music so much. To be in the hear and now of it, the ego needs to step aside and let its hair down so the soul can puke up some undigested fragments of experiences and trauma that need to be dealt with..
